+Do Queen Anne® Cordials contain gluten?
Queen Anne® Cordials do not contain gluten. However, they are produced in a facility that processes gluten products.
+Do you have a sugar-free product?
Unfortunately, a sugar-free version of Queen Anne® Cordials is not available.
+Are there pits in Queen Anne® Cordial Cherries?
Queen Anne® Cordial Cherries are made from real cherries; they may contain pits or pit fragments. While it is uncommon to find pits or pit fragments, you should still take the same care in consuming the product as you would a raw cherry.
+The chocolate has a hazy, whitish appearance on the surface. Is it okay to eat?
The whitish appearance that you are viewing is called “chocolate bloom” and is safe to eat. It likely occurred as a result of sugar bloom (moisture coming into contact with the surface of the chocolate, dissolving the sugar, and then evaporating – leaving the sugar precipitate on the surface). This can happen as a result of storage conditions; when the temperature of chocolate changes drastically, the resulting condensation can result in the appearance of chocolate bloom. For example, moving chocolate from a refrigerator or freezer into room temperature conditions can cause blooming.
+My cordials are broken. What happened?
Queen Anne® Cordials leave the facility intact. Due to the production process, they are unable to be packed into the sealed trays if they are broken. However, cordial breakage can occur during the shipment process as a result of improper shipment or storage conditions. Queen Anne® requires that product is shipped and stored within a specific temperature range to prevent melting and breakage. Unfortunately, once the product is picked up from our facility, we no longer have control of storage conditions, and melting and breakage can occur. If this occurs and the retailer has not resolved the issue, please contact us and allow us to provide resolution. We will request the retailer name and location (if available), time frame of purchase, and date code on the product, as this allows us to better determine whether specific locations are more vulnerable to breakage issues.
+Are Queen Anne® Burgundy, Creme de Menthe, or Peppermint Cordial Cherries available?
Queen Anne® Burgundy, Creme de Menthe, and Peppermint Cordial Cherries are no longer available. However, we do continue to carry the following specialty flavors: French Vanilla Cordial Cherries, Black Cherry Cola Cordial Cherries, and Cordial Blueberries (all in Milk Chocolate). We also have Limited Edition Dark Chocolate Coconut Cordial cherries for a limited time. As new specialty flavors are created, we will announce them on social media, so follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for the most up-to-date flavor news.
+Is chocolate liquor an alcohol?
“Chocolate liquor” is a liquid by-product of the chocolate manufacturing process, and does not contain alcohol. “Chocolate liqueur,” on the other hand, is made from an alcoholic base and does contain alcohol, so make note of the difference if you have alcohol-free dietary requirements.
